CNP Files Complaint With Elections Canada Over Recent Campaign Threats

The Canadian Nationalist Party is today making a formal complaint to Elections Canada regarding the act of sabotage directed toward their campaign on behalf of the so-called “Canadian Anti-Hate Network”. The nature of the complaint is based on their public intention to unlawfully seize personal information of our electorate in order to procure social and potentially physical harm to our membership electors in a bid to encourage “cancellations” with our current application for 43rd Federal Election eligibility.

The actions of the “Canadian Anti-Hate Network” are in violation the Canada Elections Act, Privacy Act, and our Party Privacy Policy.

Canada Elections Act, Section 385 (4) policy for the protection of personal information:

A political party shall publish on its Internet site its policy for the protection of personal information referred to in paragraph (2)(k) before its leader applies under this section for the party to become a registered party.

The CNP Privacy Policy states:

Under no circumstance, without written or verbal consent do third party organizations have permission to use the information of the Canadian Nationalist Party or its members for public purposes. Membership information and use of this information in consultation with Personal Information Bank CEO PPU 036 is the property of the Canadian Nationalist Party acting as a corporate body of the Canadian Government. The Canadian Nationalist Party retains the right not to disclose the membership information/personal property of its electors and enables silent support within their constituency. The Canadian Nationalist Party does not consent to the unauthorized sharing of information of its electors or their ‘Membership information’ as designated on form EC 20360 of the General Form during active campaigning or as an application to register a new federal party.

The Privacy Statement of form EC 20360 states:

The personal information supplied on this form is collected under the authority of the Canada Elections Act for the purpose of administering the registration of political entities. The information is available for public inspection in accordance with the Act, and certain information is published on the Elections Canada website www.elections.ca. You have a right to access and/or to request a correction of your personal information under the Privacy Act. For details on the collection and use of this information, consult the entry for Personal Information Bank CEO PPU 036 at www.infosource.gc.ca.

The Privacy Act, Section 7 & 8, which is referred to:

7 Personal information under the control of a government institution shall not, without the consent of the individual to whom it relates, be used by the institution except

(a) for the purpose for which the information was obtained or compiled by the institution or for a use consistent with that purpose; or

8 (1) Personal information under the control of a government institution shall not, without the consent of the individual to whom it relates, be disclosed by the institution except in accordance with this section.

Unauthorized sharing of ‘Membership information’ [Form EC 20360] is a violation of our Party Privacy Policy as designated on General Form – Political Party, page 5, ‘Party’s policy on the protection of personal information. It is also a violation of the Privacy Act, Section 7 & 8.

The Canadian Nationalist Party is calling on Elections Canada to refuse the release of its membership information in accordance with our Party Privacy Policy as referenced in Canada Elections Act, Section 385 (4) policy for the protection of personal information.

The Canadian Nationalist Party is additionally calling on Elections Canada to cease & desist all current and future communication with “Canadian Anti-Hate Network” in regards to our organization and registration application on the grounds they are acting in violation of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Finally, the Canadian Nationalist Party is calling on Elections Canada to remain convicted in their policy of membership confirmation/cancellation in that only a written signature with an included physical form will be accepted. Members who have confirmed their declaration cannot withdraw their support without a physical, written signature.

Our current status for eligibility stands at 214/250 confirmations. Our final requirement remains confirming an additional 36 declarations. After this point, and after receiving acceptance from the Chief Registrar, the Canadian Nationalist Party will begin nominating candidates for the upcoming 43rd Federal Election.

Signed,

Travis Patron
Leader of the Canadian Nationalist Party

Seven Woes on the Teachers of the Law and the Pharisees

13 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

15 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

16 “Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’ 17 You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? 18 You also say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gift on the altar is bound by that oath.’ 19 You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20 Therefore, anyone who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. 21 And anyone who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. 22 And anyone who swears by heaven swears by God’s throne and by the one who sits on it.

23 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

25 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

29 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30 And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!

33 “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34 Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35 And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 Truly I tell you, all this will come on this generation.

37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 38 Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39 For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
