The only true failure is capitulating to the opinions of those who have no standing in the Church.
Modern society, especially Western Society, sooner opts to do what is easy rather than what it knows is right. This, more than any other behavior, is the cause of it’s decline.
The fighting spirit demands that personal sacrifices be made for the greater good, and sometimes, what is right is also unpopular.
Unless modern society realizes this, it will continue to decay until the standard of living it once knew is but a distant memory.
