The Canadian Nationalist Party is today making a public claim that their right to self-determination (free will) has been, and continues to be, violated under the current government administration.

Our ability to access the public commons in order to peacefully assemble and freely express our policies to Canadian voters during the recent 43^rd Federal Election has been ubiquitously and unlawfully prohibited.

I cannot think of something more fundamental to a "free and democratic" society than a federally-sanctioned political party being permitted to assemble peacefully in public and freely expressing their policies with Canadian voters during an election.

The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.
