Elections Canada Confirming CNP Members

In response to the Canadian Nationalist Party’s application to register a new political party, Elections Canada has begun confirming membership declarations. In order to meet the registration requirements our party must confirm at least 250 electors.

The Canadian Nationalist Party is nearing official registration status as a federal party with Elections Canada. Earlier this year, the party received an Acknowledgement Letter from Elections Canada that its application to register has been received and is currently being reviewed by the Chief Registrar.

If you have previously signed a declaration, we ask you to check your mail for a letter from Elections Canada, sign the confirmation letter, and mail it back to them using the prepaid envelope included.

Efforts to obtain signed membership declarations will continue. Elections Canada requires verifying that 250 electors are party members and support the party’s application for registration. Verifying the membership of these 250 electors is one of the final remaining requirements before the Canadian Nationalist Party becomes eligible to nominate electoral candidates.
